A lawyer from the Kinkin & Partners team participated in the First IAPL-MPI Post-Doctoral Summer School on European and Comparative Procedural Law

Our colleague Silviya Spasova, Senior Associate applied for The First International Association of Procedural Law (IAPL) - Max Planck Institute (MPI) Post-Doctoral Summer School on European and Comparative Procedural Law and her application has been selected among a non-despicable number of submissions. The Summer School took place from 20 to 23 July 2014 at the Max Planck Institute Luxembourg for International, European and Regulatory Procedural Law. The Summer School was organized by the IAPL and the MPI Luxembourg. In this regard, Luxembourg is one of the most interesting judicial venues in Europe and offers many opportunities for exchanges between procedural theory and practice.
The participants to the School have presented and discussed their research activities. Invited Law professors and practitioners have made presentations on current topics related to the subject matter of the school. Silviya Spasova made a presentation with topic Cooperation between State Courts and Arbitral Tribunals.
This first IAPL-MPI Post-Doctoral Summer School brought together young post-doc researchers in European and comparative procedural law, as well as dispute resolution. It gave them the opportunity to openly exchange experiences and share their ideas with both young and experienced proceduralists. In the light of the success of the event, the Summer School will be repeated in the next years.
