An international forum organized by the Sofia Bar Association, Supreme Bar Council and Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry was held on 22nd and 23rd March, 2019.
The forum was attended by speakers from Bulgaria – lawyers and acting arbitrators as well as foreign guests – Mr. Louis Buchman - President of the European and International Affairs Committee of the French National Bar Council, Mr. Juan Serrada - President of the Madrid Court of Arbitration, attorney Valence Borgia - member of the Paris Bar Associations and New York Bar Association.
At the conference were examined problems such as new technologies in the 21st century business, liability of the arbitrator, the interaction with the court, arbitration in the dispute resolution and arbitration in the resolution of collective labor disputes.
Silviya Spasova who is part of the Kinkin & Partners team since 2003 and an arbitrator at the Court of Arbitration at the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), was a moderator of the panel entitled "Arbitrator's legal status. Liability of the arbitrator."
